Setup & Installation
- Extend the adjustable metal brackets to fit the width of your aquarium glass.
- Securely rest the light fixture on the rim of the tank (ensure the tank has a glass lid if keeping jumping fish).
- Plug the UK power adapter into the mains and connect it to the inline controller.
- Press the 'Power' button to turn the unit on. Use the 'Mode' button to select your desired spectrum colour.
- Use the 'Timer' function to set your daily lighting schedule (e.g., 8, 10, or 12 hours) to automate your day/night cycle.

Massive upgrade from the standard LED tube that came with my tank. The 35W output is incredibly bright, and my Amazon Swords have shot up since installing it. The built-in timer is a godsend for when I'm working late.
I was looking at more expensive brands but decided to give TankRay a go. The full spectrum really makes the red and blue colours on my Neon Tetras pop. Very easy to set up and the UK plug is standard, no messy adapters needed.
As an experienced aquascaper, I'm impressed by the PAR output for the price point. The aluminium heat sink stays reasonably cool even on 100% intensity. A brilliant mid-range option for planted tanks.
The light itself is fantastic and my plants are pearling beautifully. My only minor gripe is that the buttons on the inline controller are a bit small, making it slightly fiddly to program the first time. Once set though, it works flawlessly.
Much better than my old Nicrew light. The sunrise/sunset feature stops my Discus from getting spooked when the lights come on in the morning. Great value for money and fast delivery.
Fits nicely on my 60cm rimless tank. The adjustable brackets feel sturdy. I do wish the power cable was slightly longer to reach my awkward plug socket, but an extension lead sorted it. Very happy with the plant growth.
